about the layout

The current layout (Warm Smile) features an image from the Aethereality Gallery with Karen of Sister Princess. I really liked this image because the colours were very warm feeling and it was a nide shade of reddish-pink. The original image was a bit darker but I lightened it up a little. I thought since this was the opening layout of Shining Snow it should have to do with a snow theme. Therefore, I used multiple snowflake brushes and the picture added to the 'wintery' feel. The overall layout turned out quite well, considering I only did it in a night but I think the thing I liked best was how the colours turned out. The colour was a pinkish-reddish and I thought it suited very well with how I wanted the layout to look. Suprisingly enough, the colour turned out to be a bit browner in comparison with the original shade.
