why shining snow?
I named this site Shining Snow because two of my favourite lines in the song 'My Favourite Things' are 'Silver white winters that melt into Spring...' and 'Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings...' Inititally I thought of calling it 'Silver Winter' or 'Moonlight Wings' but eventually decided on Shining Snow, following the shining moon theme and the winter theme.why just icons?
The first reason I only chose to make icons was the fact that I really enjoy making icons. That, and icons are pretty easy to make. I thought it would be best if I created a site that I would actually enjoy working on instead of creating a site with lots of graphics to make in addition to maintaining my other site, Blissful Dreams, and then making an abundance of icons and nothing else. In other words, I was taking advantage of my interests and using it to my advantage.site
